My names are Winnie Muriithi(Dip. A.B.R.S.M),Bachelor of Education(Arts)from Kenyatta University.I am the propietor and principal of Wynton House of Music.I teach Voice,Piano,Flute,and Music Theory.

 

My main objective as a teacher is to impart relevant skills and knowledge to my students that will help them achieve their goals in the music industry not only in Kenya but all over the world.

Although i was trained using the Classical approach,in my 15 years of experience and continuous study i have also incorporated popular musical styles in my teaching and performances,with tremendous results from my previouus and current students.

 

At the moment,my main aim is to create a better enviroment in Kenya for musicians to make a good living not only as teachers,as has been the case but also as songwriters and performing artists through public awareness programmes that will hopefully sensitize the public to give more towards concerts.
